DASHBOARD KIOSK
Thank you for stopping by, the Dashboard Kiosk allows you to display web pages of dashboard you've created through online services like Monday.com on a TV at your office, warehouse, cafeteria, meeting room, etc. You can have multiple dashboards rotating a different intervals.
$120 for kiosk software configuration. (upfront cost)
$100 for device lease, URL hosting and support. (annual)
The software configuration cost includes up to 10 URLs to be displayed on your dashboard slideshow, labor rates apply for the inclusion of additional URLs.
In order to better describe our solution, which we call the JB Digital Kiosk, we'll put forward a case scenario based on a customer that's looking for a kiosk solution, but doesn't know how to bring it all together.
Case scenario
ABC company keeps track of orders and pickups on a dry-erase board, the system has worked for many years, but a manager identified a few deficiencies that she thinks can be solved by bringing technology into the picture. But where to begin?
Answering the question on how technology can address these deficiencies is key to begin a deployment; the manager envisions a TV displaying the data that used to be on the dry-erase board, which could address the following:
* Remove handwriting guess work, from scribbles to fonts.
* Reduce or eliminate walking time to capture recorded info.
* Facilitate the entering of data from multiple locations.
* Leverage up-to-date data to accelerate business growth.
The descision is made and a TV is purchased and placed on a wall, but what about the data?
After researching for online companies that can display dashboards, the manager decided to try monday.com, which is a project management tool, flexible enough to accomodate the needs of ABC company.
Once her dashboard was completed, monday.com generated an URL that she could use to show her data through a browser; the device used for this purpose needed to meet the following criteria:
* Needs to show full screen, no toolbars or address bar.
* Needs to loop/switch URL screens every few minutes.
* Needs to be locked down and secured from employees.
* Needs to be always on with minimal intervention.
* Needs to allow the addition or change of URLs.
The manager reached out to JB Digital for assistance with her deployment, she provided two URLs, one for the Orders page and the other for the Pickups page, we then configured a computer device (thinclient) that met the above criteria.
Upon arrival, she connected the JB Digital Kiosk to the TV, attaching the wireless dongle for keyboard/mouse, display port to HDMI video cable, a wired network connection and the power adapter, then turned it on...
The computer started and in less than a minute, the URL screens she asked us to configure were displaying on the TV, mission accomplished! If one of the URL changes or the need arises to add an additional one, all she has to do is email us with the new info, we'll update it from here and she'll restart the kiosk, saving on technical support fees.
How to update dashboard URLs
Visit the following link to submit URL change requests, there's a cost involved with URL changes, most changes take less than 20 min.
URL change requests will be processed within 48 hours, we'll notifiy you when completed, at which time the Dashboard Kiosk would need to be restarted for the new changes to display.
Cost for URL changes
URL changes are tasks that usually take less than 20 minutes to complete per instance, in which case the charge is $20; anything above 20 minutes up to the hour will be billed at the rate of $40 per hour. Labor that can go over 20 minutes is usually Technical Support or Design Services, which we do offer, but very seldom applicable here, unless requested by the customer.

How do you start?
Become a JB Digital customer first, click on the HOME page and then click on the New Customer link, fill out the information and send.
Once we get your information, we'll email you back with additional relevant information, this process allows us also to confirm your email address.
What are the benefits?
Dashboards are an excellent way to see where your business stands, it helps not only management guide and direct, but also employees contribute in areas they see lacking, once the bigger picture is revealed, work is what's left to do. Transparency encourages integrity, and this is the effect of a well made dashboard; in some cases dashboards do not have to display information of every aspect of a company, they can focus on specific areas, perhaps trends that take place within a department, which may help address production issues a detailed level.
How does payment work?
Once your Dashboard Kiosk is up and running, we'll create an invoice for setup of $120, no other amount is due unless you request URL changes, the next invoice will come after 12 months, for the amount of $100, this is the cost for leasing the device.
If no payment is received, the functionality of the Dashboard Kiosk will be reduced, and advertising for JB Digital will be included also.
Payment during the Dashboard Kiosk reduced functionality is expected, otherwise we wil request our Dashboard Kiosk to be sent back to us.
How many Dashboards can you have?
The recommended number is between 5 and 20, although having two or three dashboards is definitely not out of the question, the only limitation is the hardware and the connection, which also depends on the graphics, but in theory, the Dashboard Kiosk may handle well over 50 dashboards.
What if something fails?
Once we verify that your Dashboard Kiosk is running properly, you'll have 5 days to determine if you're satisfied with it or not, at which point you may either send it back to us or pay our invoice.
If for any reason the Dashboard Kiosk fails to perform, you may send it back to us. We'll be able to help with basic troubleshooting before you send it back, and we'll be glad to send a replacement after we've received the broken one. In the event you'd rather cancel, let us know and send the Dashboard Kiosk back to us, we'll issue a refund after we have received it.
We reserve the right to send a replacement, based on the issue, or replacement frequency.
Type of dashboards
We believe in the existence of right and wrong, for this reason we have to filter dashboards also; so what kind of dashboards do we reject? Anything that displays violence, inmorality, sexuality, and it's of offensive nature to people, in particular children, also anything that's illegal or points people to any of the items listed here, whether that be a physical location or a place on the internet.
The list above is not limited, there might be content that's not appropriate, it will be rejected, we'll let you know in writing (email), prior to invoicing you. Thank you for understanding.
