RESTAURANT LINEAR KIOSK
Thank
you for stopping by, the Restaurant Linear Kiosk allows you to
display images of your menu, favorite dishes and business cards on your
restaurant TV! Bigger business cards your customers can see! You'll
be able to make some income with the Restaurant Linear Kiosk, depending
on how many customers signup, on that basis, the linear kiosk will pay
for itself, here's how that
works: You set the advertising cost of your customers' business cards, this is where your profit is; you may have a good income potential based on restaurant location, audience, visibility and even the size of your TV, but ultimately if a customer inquires how to advertise on your TV, you may already have those factors working for you. But before you know how much you can make, for the sake of transparency, I need to tell you first how much its going to cost you: Initially $140 which is the setup cost for the Linear Kiosk, plus shipping and any other accessories you may have requested; the Linear Kiosk lease costs $40, invoiced every six months. Once you get your first group of business cards to us, we'll charge you $20 per card/per six months; The first 10 images (restaurant menu, building images, etc) are free, every other image is charged at the rate above, and to be clear, the term "card" refers to an image/picture. Okay, so based on the above information, how much can you make? Since we'll charge you $20 per card/per six months, I'd recommend you keep your rate between $60 and $120 per card/per six months, which is what you would charge your customers directly, we don't transact directly with your customers. The amount seems to be a reasonable sugesstion, but the choice is yours. Lets calculate, say you collect 15 business cards for an advertising period (6 months), and each is charged $60 ($10 a month), this will bring the total collected to $900 out of which we'll charge you $300, so your income would be $600 or $1200 if you collect 30 business cards for an advertising period (6 months). So yes, there's an initial investment, but that may easily be offset by your customers, now if you don't get any customers, we'll just charge you for the lease of the machine, which is $40 at the beginning of the advertising period (6 months), and we'll keep on trucking. I hope that answers the main $ questions; oh our $20 per card/per six months is a flat rate, and will not change unless inflation pops; this allows you to maximize your earnings in case you wish to advertise near by businesses with at a different rate. INTEGRITY FIRST The next important item is the integrity of the business cards we allow in, this is very important for us here at JB Digital, our goal is not only to make a living, but also to create restaurant listings with a moral standard, which in turn gives value to our business and will keep our audience engage. So how does this work? When a customer inquires about how to advertise his/her business card on the TV, you may hand out the Business Card Submission Form for them to read and complete, it is within this form that the customer agrees to submit a business card that does not contradict the value of our restaurant listings. The submission form is the best way to screen business cards, simply because the customer interfaces with it to either agree or disagree; the submission form specifies what's not allowed, it is important to remind customers that submissions without the form or not adhering to specifics within it will not be considered, and there will not be any refunds. There is also a Restaurant Agreement form, which we can send you via email at your request, for you to review, see email address at the bottom of this page. This page along with the agreements are also meant to be guidelines, not only to know how the process works, but also to maintain a healthy continuity and grow our businesses, while providing an useful service to business card customers. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS The first slide on the TV will show the name of your restaurant and the current time, next pictures of your menu, dishes and building images may follow, images can be an incentive for customers to come back and try new dishes. One of the neat things about advertising business cards is that they'll show real big on your restaurant TV, almost as big as your TV, you may also advertise a room for getherings, a community event or a business in your area, there are many other possibilities. Customers may reference business cards later on when away from your restaurant; below each business card shown on the TV there's a reference number they can use later on to view a specific business card from their cell phone or home computer. Say for intance, a customer sees a business card on your restaurant TV and under it s/he sees this: jbdigital.net/10-10-21 he or she can type that on any browser and the business card they saw will appear on their screen. Another potential benefit, is for you to be able to access the entire business card listing from any computer, just about the same way it appers on the TV, for instance jbdigital.net/restaurant will bring up the slideshow for our sample restaurant, which brings me to the next point. If your restaurant doesn't have a website, we could build you a template-based web page and instead of the link pointing to the business card TV listing, it would point to your web page, something like this: jbdigital.net/my_restaurant_name - It would be an additional investment to continue promoting your restaurant, since you may include the link in material that advertises your restaurant. Let us know via email if interested. TV SEQUENCE Okay, here's the sequence: Slide 10 Restaurant name and time Slide 11 - 20 Restaurant related images Slide 21 - 50+ Customer's business cards Slide 98 - JB Digital - Prompting customers to advertise on this TV Slide 99 - JB Digital - Promoting Prontowork Business Card Directory The last two slides advertise your restaurant TV and our business card directory to your customers, making it simpler to obtain more customers; after the last slide, the system will loop back to the first and repeat the cycle, each slide stays on the screen approx 15 seconds, this time can be changed, but the number of seconds will apply to all the images, hence changing the overall exposure per business card during the day, after much testing we've cloncluded that 15 seconds is a good customer view-capture per card time as well as a frequent visibility interval for all the other business card customers. We've created a sample online that shows you the sequence described above, which for the most part gives you an idea of how the sequene will show on your TV also, here's the link: jbdigital.net/restaurant HOW TO GET STARTED First you'll need a big TV and a good location for your customers to see it, this TV will need a connection to the internet, I'd recommend two ethernet connections (one for backup or HDMI connection), as well as power for itself and for the kiosk computer. If you choose to keep the kiosk away from the TV, you may use an HDMI over ethernet device, this device requires power on both ends. Or simply place the kiosk computer behind the TV. Then you'll need to purchase the Linear Kiosk from us, this is your investment, see link at the bottom of this page to order. Once your kiosk computer arrives, you'll connect it to the TV and turn it on, the TV should start displaying the images you've submitted, at this point we only have restaurant images, but the TV will begin advertising to your customers, once you've collected a good number of business cards, do send them to us along with their corresponding submission forms (must include Restaurant Agreement), have the forms ready for your customers to make the process simpler. Your customers' business cards will begin appearing on your TV about a week from the time we've received the business cards with the restaurant agreement and submission forms. WHERE TO SEND IMAGES A restaurant
would want to display images of the restaurant building, menu, dishes, etc.
these are pictures that are taken with a camera and then uploaded
to a computer, since they're on a computer or on a camera they can be
sent to us via email, it's just practical (since they don't require a customer submission form), see email address below: The other type of images are
your customer's business cards, put them in a small manilla envelope along with
their corresponding submission forms and send
them to us, you'll be provided with our PO Box address after your initial kiosk computer request. The process of collecting business card customers is repeated every six months; you'll send us your menu images (if you want any changed) to our email address and your customer's business cards to our PO Box address. HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK Once
the kiosk computer is up and running, we'll create and send you an
invoice for the machine setup plus shipping and any other requested accessories; after you've sent us a
group of business cards to initiate the six-month advertising period,
we'll create an invoice based on your business card
submissions plus machine lease, payment
will be due within 30 days for the functionality of the linear kiosk to remain the same. Keep in mind that a delayed payment will postpone the posting of the images that correspond to the next six-month period, basically pushes the cycle back. Submission of business cards and invoicing takes place every six months after the initial machine setup invoice. WHAT IF SOMETHING FAILS Once
we verify that your kiosk computer is running properly, we'll send you
an invoice,
you'll have 30 days to determine if the solution is suitable for your
restaurant, if not, simply send the kiosk and any accessories back to
us, there is a $40
labor/restocking fee plus the cost for any missing accessories. But wait, let us know before you send the kiosk computer back, we might be able to help with basic troubleshooting to fix whatever issue, we'll also be glad to send a replacement after we've received the previous one; if we're not able to fix it, that is. We reserve the right to send a replacement, based on the issue, or replacement frequency.
